Philip Cope, BSc. MRICS, FNAEA – Partner

After completing his academic studies, Philip spent 2 years gaining post qualification experience at Robert S Heywood’s of Stone. In 1981 Philip joined the family business and 5 years later he was given a partnership in the company. Since then Philip has played an integral role in the local property market, while overseeing the continued growth and success of Donald Cope & Company.

Andrew Stevenson, FNAEA, Cert PFS, Cert CII – Partner

After working for the Nat West Bank, Andrew was invited to join the company in 1973 by founder Donald Cope. Within a few years Andrew became a partner of the business and tasked himself in providing comprehensive and competitive insurance to the local community. Andrew’s strong belief in face to face customer relations has engrained itself to become the Donald Cope way, and with a 40 year association with the company experience is a certainty.

Helen Evans – Senior Negotiator

Joined Donald Cope & Company in 1979, and soon became a vital cog in the growth and success of her father Donald Cope’s business. With over 30 years association with the company Helen not only provides customers with a friendly face to conduct property sales, but she has also created a wealth of local property knowledge that is very hard to come by. Helen maintains and possesses that burning desire for success at Donald Cope and Company, further evidence she has every ingredient wanted by a client when negotiating the sale of a property.

Claire Gregory – Senior Administration Manager

After a comprehensive financial working background Claire joined Donald Cope & Company in February 2009. As our Senior Administration Manager, Claire is at the epicentre of talking to clients, negotiating deals, and administrating the office efficiently. Her friendly and helpful disposition ensures she excels in such a role.

Dawn Bryan – General Insurance Advisor

After working for companies such as Johnson Matthey and GKN Manchester, Dawn joined Donald Cope & Company in February 2001. Dawn’s primary role is to offer professional insurance advice, but over the years Dawn has diversified to assist on the property side of the business. This cross-over of skills ensures Dawn is not only kept very busy but a fluent cross selling service has developed, reflecting the diverse attributes of the company.

Julie Keeling – General Insurance Advisor

With over 20 years’ experience within the insurance industry not only will Julie provide comprehensive advice, but mixed with her bubbly and friendly disposition a perfect environment is produced for our clients to purchase insurance. Julie directed herself straight into the insurance industry and has excelled ever since, gaining a valuable 16 years’ experience as an insurance advisor at Alan Stokes Insurance Services. Julie then joined Donald Cope & Company in May 2004 transferring that wealth of industry knowledge and experience for the benefit of our clients.

Jackie Forrester – General Insurance Advisor

Joined Donald Cope & Company in March 1992, after previously working as a director’s secretary at Alton Towers. With over 20 years’ experience working as an insurance advisor for Donald Cope & Company, Jackie understands the core values associated with the company and excels in delivering sound insurance advice. Jackie also plays a fundamental role in how the insurance side of the business is conducted.

Janet Swinson – Accounts Clerk

Before Joining Donald Cope & Company in 2007, Janet has had a comprehensive career working for companies such as Blue Circle Cement and Meccon Ltd. Throughout this time Janet has accumulated a broad knowledge of accounting and book balancing, vital attributes required within the company. Day to day Janet works tirelessly behind the scenes ensuring Donald Cope & Company relations run without a glitch.
